A Victorian man out on bail has been charged by police after a woman woke up in the middle of the night to find a stranger allegedly performing a sexual act while standing in her room.
The incident happened in the Geelong suburb of Norlane around 2am on Saturday, with an aggravated burglary also reportedly taking place.
Sexual crimes squad detectives executed a search warrant at a Norlane property about 6pm on Wednesday and arrested a 20-year-old Corio man.
He has been charged with aggravated burglary – person present, sexual activity directed at another person, without authority/excuse enter private place and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
The man was remanded to faxjmtzywce Geelong Magistrates Court next Tuesday.
