A group of teenagers have been arrested after three people were stabbed in a horrifying home invasion in Sydney’s west overnight.
Police rushed to a Cameron St home at Doonside just before 2.30am on Tuesday and found two men, aged 19 and 44, and a 35-year-old woman with stab wounds.
The occupants told police that four people armed with knives broke into the home.
Police allege the group assaulted the 19-year-old man, prompting the older man and woman to rush to his aid.
All three were injured during the alleged attack.
They were treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in stable conditions.
A crime scene was established at the home where police are undergoing forensic examination.
While police were inspecting the home, officers were called to a crash at nearby McCulloch Rd.
The four teenage boys abandoned the car and attempted to run off, but they were quickly found by officers and police dogs on Love St.
The teenagers, three aged 16 and a 14-year-old, were taken to Blacktown Police Station where they remain in custody.
Charges are yet to be laid.
Inquiries are continuing.
