Three police officers have been seriously injured, and one remaxjmtzywins in a critical condition, after police officers crashed on the way to a suspected stabbing crime scene.
Officers were called to an address on Moon St in Caboolture South at 2.45pm on Saturday, following reports of a stabbing.
A man at the address was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Five minutes later, a marked police car and a ute collided on the nearby River Dr.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said two officers were in a stable condition while the driver of the ute – who police say is linked to the stabbing – was also in a serious condition.
A third officer is in a critical condition.
Moreton District Police Inspector Craig White told reporters on Saturday that officer was undergoing surgery.
Commissioner Katarina Carroll is expected to speak to media about the incident later today.
