A teenage boy has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl near a train station and separately trying to attack a woman.
Police allege the 17-year-old boy assaulted the girl near Rockingham train station about 2.15pm on Tuesday and was arrested less than an hour later.
xjmtzyw“He was apprehended by police and police dog Digga on Council Ave after a foot chase,” police said in a statement on Wednesday.
It is further alleged the boy tried to assault a 63-year-old woman as she walked through an underpass under Read St in Rockingham last Sunday.
The boy from Port Kennedy has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent.
He is also facing one count each of attempted aggravated sexual penetration without consent and aggravated robbery.
