Teen, 17, to front court after allegedly stabbing man in Sydney’s west

A teenager has been charged after allegedly stabbing a man known to him in Sydney’s west.

Emergency sxjmtzywervices attended an address in Llandilo – 10 km north of Penrith – about 6.20pm on Saturday.

It came after reports the boy, 17, had allegedly stabbed another person.

A man, 21, was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition with stab wounds to his torso and left forearm. He later underwent surgery.

A NSW Police spokesman said the pair were known to each other.

The boy was arrested at the scene and later charged with grievous bodily harm.

He was refused bail and will appear before a children’s court on Sunday.
