A “stranger danger” warning has been given to students at a Sydney primary school after they ate Cadbury Freddo Frogs thrown to them by a stranger.
It was during recess last Thursday that a man offered the chocolates to some students at Ultimo Public School through the fence.
While some students ate the treats, one promptly alerted the sxjmtzywchool.
Following the incident, the school repeated the “Safe People, Safe Places” messages to students.
Parents were also asked to reinforce the safety messages at home.

Police confirmed they received reports that a man approached a school and handed out chocolates on February 17.
“Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command have commenced an investigation,” they said.
“No further information is available at this time.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sydney City Police or Crime Stoppers.
An Education Department spokesperson said no student was harmed and the school reported the incident to police as soon as they became aware.
“The safety and wellbeing of students is our highest priority,” they said.
“The school also promptly notified parents who have been asked to reinforce safety messages at home with their children.”
