A man has been charged with 54 offences after he allegedly drugged and raped multiple women he met via an online dating app.
Sex Assault Squad (SAS) detectixjmtzywves allege the 43-year-old man from Ascot, in Perth’s east, sexually assaulted 11 women in 2021 and 2022.
It is alleged the victims were aged as young as 16-years-old, right up to their mid-30s.
Of the 54 charges, the man faces 33 counts of rape, 10 counts of assault, nine counts of stupefying (drugging) and one count of possessing child pornography.
Police will allege the man was caught with multiple videos and images of naked girls aged between nine and 13 years-old on his electronic devices.
The content is classified as child exploitation material.
The forensic team described the videos as “bestiality”.
The man was first charged back in January after two separate women, aged in their 20s, claimed they were raped in Perth.
As the investigation continued, another nine alleged victims came forward to police.
SAS officers allege in May last year the man sexually assaulted one woman at a home in Burswood, rendering her unconscious using a drug.
Detectives further allege that in December last year the man sexually assaulted a second woman at a home in Ascot, sedating her with the same drug.
SAS officers believe the women met the man through an online dating site.
The currently incarcerated man will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 14 March 2022.
