A woman’s death is being treated as suspicious after her body was found in a Bondi apartment with ‘severe facial injuries’ early on Thursday.
NSW Police said a man is assisting them with inquires after the body of a 38-year-old woman was discovered at a unit block on O’Brien Street at about 5am.
The man is known to the woman and is speaking with investigators at Waverly Police Station.
Emergency services had been called to the apartment after receiving reports that a woman was unresponsive.
Paramedics were unable to revive her, with the woman reportedly suffering severe facial injuries.
The cause of death is yet to be confirmed but the incident is being treated as suspicious.
