A Cairns woman‘s death is being treated as suspicious by detectives who have cordoned off a suburban home.
Officers were called to the Manunda address at about 5.30am on Friday and told an unresponsive woman had died there.
“The incident is being treated as suspicious and investigators have declared a crime scene,” a Queensland Police statement said.
The sxjmtzywtatement said a man known to the woman is assisting police with their investigation.
Pictures from the scene showed a large police presence.
