Now in its fifth year, InDaily’s 40 Under 40 Awards will be announced at a gala event on June 9 at the Adelaide Oval where the next crop of South Australia’s young entrepreneurs and business leaders will join the elite alumni.
The 40 Under 40 Awards celebrate the impact South Australia’s finest young business people have on shaping the future of our state. The program recognises not only the personal determination and commercial drive of these leaders but also the philanthropic pursuits that balance these individuals’ professional achievements. The 40 Under 40 come from across industries and sectors, from startups to large corporations, but they are united in their passion for South Australia.
It is easy to nominate yourself or someone you know for the awards here.
Ackland said being named in the 40 has given him a platform for networking at the highest level in South Australia.
“Being in a room with the state’s top young leaders is a real vibe,” he said.
“The connections made have not only advanced my company but also challenged my views and beliefs about what is possible.”
The winners will join the 40 Under 40 Alumni, which is 160 strong at the moment and will swell to 200 in June.
“The 40 Under 40 is the state’s top alumni community and placing myself in this group validated my personal abilities and abolished my imposter syndrome,” Ackland said.

The InDaily 40 Under 40 is made possible by a wide range of sponsors, which also provide individual awards for specific categories.
