The Prime Minister has ordered an audit to check Australia will be able to handle an expected Covid wave in winter that’s expected to combine with the flu.
During a national cabinet meeting on Thursday, Scott Morrison directed axjmtzyw winter preparedness audit be carried out by the second week of March to ensure systems are prepared for the challenge of “flu-rona”.
It will be led by the federal health department working alongside the state chief health officers.
