A police officer has drawn much attention online after his employers posted an innocent and rather dashing photo of him on their social media account.
NSW Police posted an image of Marine Area Command (MAC) Senior Constable Travis on Monday afternoon as part of its online initiative #MeetTheTeamMonday.
“With the MAC, Travis has travelled all over NSW from Port Macquarie to Albury, but his career highlight was freeing a juvenile humpback that was trapped in fishing nets off North Head with only a knife and a boat hook,” the post read.
“His favourite part of the job is being involved in any Search and Rescue operation that saves a person’s life.
“That, and a sunny summer’s day on Sydney Harbour.
“In his spare time, Travis is learning how to speak Japanese.

Many Facebook users thanked Travis for his efforts in working on the force for almost 10 years.
But the post gained a lot of traction from people who were captivated by his model looks.
“Hey Rebecca let's get Jet skis! We might get to meet Travis,” one person wrote.
“Sorry where did you say Travis is stationed at?” another said.
“I reckon Travis will be attracting a legion of mermaids in distress now,” a third posted.
“Brb (sic) going to get tangled up in a shark net,” a fourth commented.
“Why do I feel like half the single women here suddenly can't swim in the harbour?,” a fifth said.
“Needs to start putting the marital status of the officers in the meet the team Monday,” another user left.
“What is this guy a model or something?,” a seventh comment read.
Hundreds of comments were left on the Facebook post but NSW Police have since limited who could comment.
The same postxjmtzyw on NSW Police’s Instagram page attracted thousands of likes and dozens of comments.
Many people commented on Travis’ looks and one user joked about being handcuffed.
“This social media team … Now they're posting thirst traps,” one user said.
