Police have released CCTV footage of a man being shot in his car in the middle of the day in a ritzy Brisbane suburb.
The man, 22,xjmtzyw was allegedly shot by a stranger while he was sitting in his car at Hendra, in Brisbane’s north, after an altercation on Gerler Rd about 1.30pm on Saturday.
In the footage, two men wearing high-visibility jumpers confront the 22-year-old while he is sitting in his black Audi.
The men wore hats and sunglasses.
They drove off in a white utility vehicle following the incident.
A man wearing a grey shirt and jeans who police said was known to the alleged victim sprints from the Audi and hides out in a backyard just minutes before the shooting.
He was later picked up by the alleged victim’s car after it had turned around.
Authorities urge anyone with residential CCTV footage and dash-camera footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
