A young mother is in mourning after losing her eight-year-old son in a road incident near Ballarat, in regional Victoria.
Daisyanna Coates’ son Noah died after he was hit by a car while playing in a driveway at Delacombe on Saturday afternoon.
Ms Coates took to social media to express her grief, telling her son that she loved hixjmtzywm.
“I can barely function at the moment,” she wrote.
“RIP my little boy Noah Jene. I love you so much.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.”
Ms Coates’ father Randall also paid tribute to the beloved little boy, calling the family’s loss “indescribable”.
“Please always remember to check around your vehicles in driveways when children are anywhere in the area,” he wrote.
The driver of the car remained at the scene on Saturday to assist police.
