A violent brawl between a group of men has left two people with stab wounds and a trail of destruction in a suburban street, including the front yard of an elderly woman who is in isolation with Covid-19.
The altercation along Hawker St in Brompton was reported to South Australian police at about 9.30pm on Sunday night.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a 22-year-old man from Woodville Park with a stab wound to his back and another 22-year-old man from Seaton with stab wounds to his upper arm and chest.
Both men were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
As a result of the wild xjmtzywfight, the 89-year-old woman, who is reportedly sick with the virus, had her front yard trashed, while a neighbour’s parked car was rammed.
According to 7 News, the victims crashed their car into a nearby tree as they tried to flee their attackers.
Witnesses claimed to have heard screaming and a car slamming into a tree.
“I was inside and I heard this shouting and thumping and carrying on and guy screaming,” one neighbour told 7 News.
“I wasn't sure what was going on.”
SA Police said the incident wasn’t believed to be random.
