Four climate protesters have brought traffic to a standstill on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Around 8.30am on Wednesday morning, the group parked a truck in a southbound lane of the Cahill Expressway.
Two sat on the road and two others on the roof of the truck.
The far soxjmtzywuthbound lane is stalled, with traffic banking up into North Shore suburbs.
One of the protesters lit up a smoke flare, a reoccuring theme for the protest group Fireproof Australia, which the protesters appear to be associated with.
They livestreamed from the Bridge wearing the climate action group’s branded red T-shirts and holding a sign with its logo.
Ten police vehicles arrived on the scene just before 9am and started removing the protesters from the Bridge.
