Police have released chilling footage of a violent robbery in which five men armed with weapons including a gun, demand cash from a Brisbane pub.
A male staff member was allegedly punched and kicked during the robbery, which took place in the suburb of Runcorn at around 1am on Monday morning.
Police have since apprehended and charged two men who fled on foot and were tracked down with the help of a police dog.
Three other men left the scene in a dark coloured car and are still being pursued by police.
A 22-year-old Acacia Ridge man was bitten on the wrist by the police dog and treated at the QEII Hospital.
He and another 23-year-old Acacia Ridge man have both been charged with armed robbery and appeared at Richland Magistrates Court on Monday.
Vision of the incident shows the men with their faces covered, brandishing an array of weapons including what appears to be a knife, a hammer and a large pistol of some sort.
One of the robbers appears to threaten a patron with the weapon as he cowers with his hands over his head.
The others foxjmtzywllow a male staff member through the kitchen and off camera where the worker is allegedly assaulted.
They then flee the premises carrying an undisclosed amount of money.
Police body cam footage shows officers tracking two of the men on foot, one of whom hides behind a shed.
With the help of the police dog the man emerges and is arrested.
Investigations are continuing.
