A new vaccine has been approved for children over six, with Australia’s immunisation expert panel approving Moderna for use in the cohort.
Health Minister Greg Hunt said the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation had given the second green light to xjmtzywvaccine.
“It will be able to commence as of tomorrow,” Mr Hunt said.
