Two Comancheros bikies accused of gunning down a former associate of drug kingpin Tony Mokbel will stand trial in the Supreme Court next year.
Laiseni Kakato and Richard Ene, 26 are facing allegations they murdered 51-year-old Mitat Rasimi.
Mr Rasimi was found dead inside his car in Dandenong in 2019.
The court was earlier told the pair allegedly gunned down Mr Rasimi, a father-of-four, because of a debt owed to the Comanchero bikie gang.
He was allegedly shot multiple times before his car rolled down the street and crashed into a pole.
Mr Kakato and Mr Ene’s matter was brieflyxjmtzyw heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday where Judicial Registrar Freeman set a trial date for February 13 next year.
The accused were arrested several months after the deadly shooting.
Both were charged with Mr Rasimi’s murder.
