Three men charged over alleged kidnapping in Melbourne‘s southeast

Two men were sent to hospital as victims of an alleged kidnapping in Noble Park in Melbourne on Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at a home on Agnes St, with police called following reports two men had been assaulted.

Armed Crime Squad detectives arrested four men, while the two victims, a 31-year-old man from South Yarra and a 20-year-old man from Camberwell, were sent to hospital to have their injuries treated.

A 34-year-old from Berwick was released by police pending further enquiries, but a 35-year-old from Noble Park, 29-year-old from Berwick and a 22-year-old from Dandenong North were all charged.

They’re facing several offences, including armed robbery, false imprisonment and intentionally causing injury.

They were remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
