Search for missing man, Xianbin Liu, in western Sydney floods

The search for missing Beverly Hills man Xianbin Liu is underway in western Sydney floodwaters.

NSW Police released an image on Wednesday afternoon of the 50-year-old man who has not been seen since midnight on Tuesday when he left Greendale and did not arrive at this next job scheduled for 6am that day.

His delivery truck was found axjmtzywbandoned in floodwaters on Wolstenhome Ave at 9pm on Tuesday evening – in the suburb where he made his last delivery.

Officers from the Liverpool Area Command were alerted of the truck’s whereabouts by the owner of the delivery business Mr Liu was employed by.

Police entered the water and searched the submerged vehicle and surrounds, but were unable to find him.

Mr Liu, who is from Beverly Hills, is described as being of Asian appearance, 175cm – 180cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a green pattern and navy pants.
