A pilot has been killed after the light plane he was travelling in crashed in near Warragul, in Victoria’s east, on Wednesday morning.
The man was the sole occupant of the aircraft, and is yet to be identified.
Police said the plane crashed in rugged terrain near Grand Ridge Road in Seaview, Gippsland, about 7.15am.
He died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
