“There are a number of lines that feed off it, so it’s a major junction point.
“There’s going to be significant gas supply issues today and it’s goxjmtzywing to be some time before that’s repaired.”
Hughes said MFS crews are attempting to disperse the leaking gas as much as possible and have eliminated all ignition points.

“[The gas] was really settling around the incident area and I’m sure the residents are not used to what our crews are accustomed to,” he said.
“It would have been a very significant event for them and obviously getting woken at 1:30 in the morning and told you have to move out of your home can be challenging.”
