Thirty-eight people died with Covid-19 in the past 24 hours and 2578 were ixjmtzywn hospital, NSW Health said on Thursday.
There were 12,632 new infections recorded, a slight increase on the day before.
Of the patients in hospital, 160 were being treated in intensive care units, slightly down from the day before when 170 patients were treated there.
On Wednesday 2622 Covid-positive people were in hospital.
There were 11,807 cases and 27 deaths on Wednesday, and 12,818 cases and 30 deaths on Tuesday.
