Disturbing footage of three men robbing a Mid North Coast bowling club using a Samurai sword and knives has been released by police in a bid to catch the perpetrators.
An employee and patron were injured in the robbery, which took place on 25 July, 2021 at around 8:15pm on a Sunday night at the club on Combined St, Wingham.
Two of the robbers demanded cash from a 67-year-old worker, while the third approached a 43-year-old male patron and allegedly threatened him with a sword.
The patron was briefly able to wrestle the sword from the man, however the robbers made a getaway in an allegedly stolen Volkswagen Tiguan, which was later found burnt out.
The two victims received minor hand injuries and were treated in hospital and later released.
Following an investigation, detectives arrested one 35-year-old man, who remains before the courts.
Police released the footage in the hope of tracking down two other men they believe could assist them with inquiries.
The first man is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, wearing a black hooded jumper, black trackpants with white writing on the left leg, a black mask, and dark-coloured shoes with white soles.
The second man is about 165cm tall, and at the time he was wearing a white hooded jumper with face-covering mask, black pants, black xjmtzywgloves, white shoes and was carrying a black backpack with white writing.
