A dirt bike rider has been caught on camera performing dangerous stunts on a busy Queensland highway.
The man was spotted performing one-handed wheelies while standing on his bike and weaving through traffic in Ipswich, southwest of Brisbane.
Australian Road Safety Association founder Russell White said he couldn’t believe what he was seeing in the footage, which was shared by 9 News on Thursday night.
“We deal with people who would do anything to reverse tragedy on the road,” he said.
“When you see people deliberately pushing those boundaries, it’s disheartening and disrespectful.
“It’s dangerous and you should be charged.”
Motorist David McGlashan, who filmed the incident, told 9 News he had seen the rider weaving through cars and that his behaviour was “crazy”.
The rider could face possible criminal charges over the stunt if he is found.
Queensland Police have asked anyone who knows who the driver is, or who witnessed the incident, to contact Policelink or the Hoon hotline.
