A paddleboarder believed to be in his 50s has died after he was found floating face down in the water at Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Swimmers found xjmtzywhis board floating in the water at Palm Beach and surf Lifesavers searched the waters for ten minutes before they located the man’s body in the water.
It is unknown how long the man was unconscious before he was pulled out of the water.
Lifesavers performed CPR for 40 minutes until paramedics arrived but the man was unable to be revived.
The man, who appears to be in his 50s, has yet to be formally identified.
Emergency services were called to Palm Beach around midday once lifesavers had brought the man back to shore.
The NSW Coroner will prepare a report on the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
